I have committed myself to a lifelong journey with music in all its forms.
At age three, my parents found me picking out melodies on the piano. A piano teacher was found - Joan Kost - who told me I have perfect pitch. As I got older, I learned other instruments - drums, guitar, bass, accordion.
I went on to study Composition at Oberlin Conservatory of Music under John Luther Adams, Pauline Oliveros, and Brenda Hutchinson. I graduated in 2000, and headed for the San Francisco Bay Area.
Since then, I have played in dozens of bands, exploring a variety of musical styles. Currently I perform almost seven days a week, sometimes having two or three gigs a day. Occasionally I have projects composing for film or theater. I have a home studio where I record, mix, and edit music.
My interests run far and wide, and my horizons broaden daily.
